Lovell is inaugural Seafood Industry Australia CEO

JANE LOVELL has been named the inaugural chief executive officer of Seafood Industry Australia (SIA), the new body charged with promoting, protecting and developing the Australian seafood industry nationally and internationally.

Australian Fisheries Management Authority (AFMA) CEO, James Findlay, congratulated Ms Lovell and highlighted her wealth of experience and extensive work within the natural resources sector, including fisheries, to pursue this mission. 

 “With strong connections to the seafood industry and AFMA, Ms Lovell’s prior roles in federal ministerial fisheries portfolios in addition to her role as inaugural managing director at the industry body TQA Australia, means she is the perfect fit for this position,” Dr Findlay said.

“Her passion and commitment to this important and proud Australian industry will help drive SIA’s objectives of creating a united voice and opportunity for improving all stages of the seafood supply chain.
