With summer and Christmas nearly upon us, there's no better time to go a little batty! Beat the heat and sit back on Sunday 20 November on a cooling Batty Boat Cruise up the Brisbane River to meet some of our city's cutest and most misunderstood residents – the wonderful flying foxes that help pollinate our native flora. 
  • Take your camera to get a selfie with adorable batty babies.
  • Entertain the kids with wildlife craft.
  • Listen to our friends from Bat Rescue & Conservation Queensland explain the life history of these fascinating mammals, and enjoy snacks and drinks as you take in the twilight sights of the 'River City'.
Board the spacious Mirimar vessel from Southbank at 4:45 pm and cruise for 2 hours to watch the 'fly out', enjoying refreshments and admiring the city lights on the return cruise.
