Regional Growth Fund Briefings: Additional sessions on 3 & 5 April
The Australian Government has announced the opening for Initial Applications to the $272.2 million Regional Growth Fund (RGF). The fund will provide grants of $10 million or more for major transformational projects which support long-term economic growth and create jobs in regions undergoing structural adjustment.
RDA Brisbane is holding two additional guideline briefing sessions to provide advice on making applications for the RGF.
Prospective applicants from the Logan & Redlands region are invited to attend either of these sessions:
Tuesday 3 April 2018 or Thursday 5 April 2018 4.00pm to 5.00pm Corporate House, 138 Juliette Street, Greenslopes (Parking and entry in Ernest Street. There is also street parking available in Juliette Street.)

Eligible applicants are: State and Territory Governments, Local Governments, private sector businesses (not owned or operated by government) and not-for-profit organisations.
Projects must be located in an eligible area or, if your project is located in an excluded area, you must clearly demonstrate how economic benefits flow directly into an eligible area.
A mapping tool is available to assist applicants determine the project or benefit location.
Applications close on 27 April 2018. We note there is expected to be only one funding round for this program.
Selection of projects will be undertaken in two stages:
- Stage One requires submission of an Initial Application for competitive assessment
- Stage Two is for the submission of a Full Business Case
Only successful applications to the Initial Application will be invited to submit a Full Business Case.
