Building cyber resilience in Australia's critical services
|
|
How do the leaders of some of Australia’s critical assets and services ensure their organisations are cyber resilient? Paramount to establishing Australia as a leading digital nation is our ability to safeguard our critical assets and ensure that our organisations, institutions, services, and systems are cyber resilient. Amid multi-billion-dollar election promises and calls to teach cyber security in schools, the reality for Australian business and government is stark. In the 2020-21 financial year there were an increasing number of cybercrime reports received. Approximately one-quarter of reported cyber incidents impacted Australia’s critical infrastructure, including essential services such as education, health, communications, electricity, water and transport. Join CEDA for this special State of the Nation preview as we examine the critical choices ahead for Australian business, policymakers and diplomats as cyber security seeks to impact every aspect of Australian life.
