WHAT: QUT Business Leaders' Forum WHEN: Wednesday 15 March 2023, noon–2pmWHERE: Grand Ballroom, Hilton Hotel, Brisbane CBDMichael Miller, Executive Chairman of News Corp Australasia, will address the next QUT Business Leaders' Forum at the Hilton Hotel.Michael Miller leads Australia's largest media conglomerate and is playing an integral role in transitioning News Corp from a traditional print publisher to a digital news media company, as technology disruptions change customer behaviours and expectations.Appointed Executive Chairman in November 2015, Mr Miller has more than three decades of experience working in senior executive roles in the media industry. He is the Director of both the REA Group and Foxtel, and the founding Chairman of the Premium Content Alliance, the industry body representing Australia's leading broadcasting, publishing and digital companies. Michael is a former Director of Fox Sports Australia, SKY Television Network (NZ), the Committee for Sydney, and Waratahs Rugby.He will speak about his personal leadership journey and the leadership qualities that matter most to him. He will also address the future of the Australian media industry, its continuing challenges, and the important role of journalism in a democratic society.It will be a pleasure to welcome award-winning ABC journalist Ellen Fanning to moderate this QUT Business Leaders’ Forum. |
