With the election looming, political parties are presenting vastly different proposals for the management of Australia’s environment. But what do Australian voters want?
How many voters want stronger environmental laws, cat containment laws, new national parks and greater spending on conservation? And how much do voting preferences influence results?
In its third consecutive year, the Biodiversity Council, in partnership with Monash University’s BehaviourWorks Australia, has undertaken a benchmark survey of 3,500 Australians to understand community attitudes towards nature and its conservation.
Join us for this interactive webinar where we’ll discuss which biodiversity issues Australians are most concerned about, how well voters think the government is addressing these issues, which policies the public supports, and how to engage people more in nature and conservation.
The webinar will include a Q&A session.
