Cooper Grace Ward HR Forum: Right to disconnect, workplace flexibility and WFH
Right to disconnect, workplace flexibility and WFH
The right to disconnect has recently entered the workforce, with employees now having the right to refuse to respond to contact outside of hours. Practically, what does this mean for employers and what are some tips to manage this with your existing workflow? Flexible working is also a hot topic, with employees expecting some sort of flexibility with their working arrangements. We will discuss what is required of you as an employer, particularly with respect to working from home and the implications of that.
In this session, Annie and Isabella will discuss:
the right to disconnect and what is required of you as an employer
some tips to manage the right to disconnect in the workplace
flexible working arrangements and the rights and responsibilities of employers and employees
working from home and how to properly manage these requests.
We look forward to your joining the discussion, in person or online.
