Respect at Work: Moving from Positive Intent to Concrete Action
Prompted by a 100,000-strong #MarchforJustice in 2021 and a national conversation on culture reform, we asked ourselves and our employees, “Are we doing enough to create safe and respectful workplaces?” The results of a cross-coalition survey were clear; the short answer was no.
Join us for the launch of Everyday Respect, a review of the nature, prevalence and impact of exclusionary behaviour in our firms and tangible actions we can all take to foster more inclusive, contemporary workplaces – where everyone has equal opportunity to thrive.
David Leser, award-winning journalist and author will serve as keynote. Drawing on his acclaimed book Men and the Whole Damn Thing, Leser will deliver a forensic look at gender relations, the source of everyday sexism and what we can do to encourage positive, sustainable change.
The keynote will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A.
