AmCham/AICD - Workshop on Directors Roles and Responsibilities

AICD - Workshop on Subsidiary Companies

Directors' Roles and Responsibilities

WED 15 May | 8.30am - 5.00pm | Baker McKenzie

The American Chamber of Commerce in Australia is delighted to partner with the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) to invite you to a one-day interactive workshop on Subsidiary Companies - Directors' Roles and Responsibilities.

Our joint program will focus on American companies with subsidiaries in Australia that have bilateral reporting and compliance responsibilities, and are exposed to significant cultural differences between Australia and the States. Directors and executives of subsidiary companies will gain key insights into roles and responsibilities, as well as the challenges, complexities and personal liabilities that are involved in managing and directing a company in Australia.

Participants will also gain practical guidance in working with different legal frameworks and strategies for negotiating complex reporting and communication lines. As well as the formal part of the program, there will be a networking segment at the conclusion of the day.

All participants will receive a certificate of completion.
