Sydney highlights

In Sydney, we’ll focus on industry, innovation and the craft of journalism and storytelling over two days, Aug. 30-31. Check out sessions on revenue, design, diversity, podcasting, arts writing and a whole bunch more. What’s on in Brisbane: Storyology 2017 kicks off at the Brisbane Powerhouse Aug. 24 with our live storytelling extravaganza Storyology After Dark, where our talented contributors will create a magazine live onstage! Featuring writers and journalists Trent DaltonWilliam McInnesCaro Meldrum-HannaTonya Mosley (US) and more. Your ticket includes a drink — come to the bar by the river after the show!

On Friday Aug. 25, we’ll have Storyology for Journalists, featuring speakers such as investigative reporter Aaron Glantz (US), Google News Lab’s Asia-Pacific lead Irene Jay Liu (Hong Kong) and others.

And there’s something for everyone at Storyology Saturday, Aug. 26. Come to a discussion about Queensland’s criminal history, the Trump effect and much more.
